    Special Karkidaka Treatment


    “KARKIDAKA” CHIKITSA

    “KARKIDAKA” Ayurveda treatment is considered to be the best treatment for detoxification of human body. This year karkidaka treatment starts in the month of July 16,2024 to August 16,2024. This treatment is done yearly once in a month that is peak days of monsoon. During this season, the climatic changes leads to the aggrevation of tridoshas (Vata , pitta & Kapha) in the body. From the view of ayurveda, the imbalance in the tridoshas leads to many diseases. The unhealthy life style and food habits are also one of the main reason which aggravate the diseases. So these accumulate toxins needs to be eliminated from the body by means of SODHANA (detoxification) and SAMANA therapies (internal/medications).

    Importance of the karkidaka kanji (medicated gruel)

    “KARKIDAKA KANJI” is prepared from a special variety of rice called “Njavara Rice” along with certain powders of some medicines and ghee. Coconut milk is added at last to the cooked gruel. Juices of certain herbs are also added to the above preparation according to the condition .This gruel is considered as health tonic and is very effective for removing general fatigue. It can be take once in a day.
    “KARKIDAKA KANJI” will be provided to patients in free of cost in our hospital karkidaka package.
